Who can apply to Pankh 2026?
Anyone from the Ujjain region who wants to set up an industry, has a startup idea, or already runs a startup. You apply under one of three tracks — Aspiring Industrialist, Idea-Stage Founder, or Running Startup.
Is there any fee to apply?
No. Pankh 2026 is completely free — from applying, through every selection stage, to being selected among the Top 50.
How many participants are selected?
Fifty finalists are selected. The Top 50 receive dedicated training, mentorship and MPIDC support.
What are the selection stages?
There are six stages: Registration, Screening, Shortlisting, Presentation, Interview, and Final Selection of the Top 50.
Do I need a registered company to apply?
No. Aspiring industrialists and idea-stage founders do not need a registered company. Running startups may share their existing details. Intent, clarity and readiness matter most.
How will I know my application status?
You receive an email at every stage, and you can sign in to your dashboard anytime to see your current stage, reference number and full history.
Can teams apply, or only individuals?
Both individuals and teams are welcome. Apply with your primary contact details and mention your team in the application.
What support do the selected 50 receive?
Structured training, 1:1 mentorship, MPIDC facilitation and schemes, guidance on approvals, networks, recognition and a personalised roadmap for your venture.
What documents do I need?
A valid email and phone number, and basic details of your industry plan, idea or startup. You may optionally upload a pitch deck or business plan.
Who is organising Pankh 2026?
Pankh 2026 is an initiative by the District Administration, Ujjain, powered by MPIDC RO Ujjain.
